HydroLid® was founded by a wildland firefighter to address the issues of on-the-job hydration in extreme environments where every second of hands-on performance is critical. Fire crew members could only choose between sun-warmed, swampy bladder water or having to stop work to access an insulated bottle. With extensive field testing, HydroLid® has evolved into a customizable set of kits to accommodate various hydration capacities and uses.

HydroLid® quickly adapted the hydration systems to recreational use outdoors in both hot and cold environments. Temperature-stable hydration is key for comfort and no-hassle hydration saves time and limits interruption. Our hands-free hydration kits are used in virtually all types of outdoor recreation and remain an asset to fire & field work.
